NDYC: Daniel Bwala’s Actions Are Driven by Personal Ambition, Not Patriotism

The Niger Delta Youth Congress (NDYC) has expressed strong support for the recent appointment of the new Minister of Petroleum by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In a statement, the NDYC dismissed criticisms from opposition figures who questioned the Minister’s qualifications and experience, labeling these concerns as unfounded and politically driven.

The NDYC highlighted the Minister’s extensive background in the oil and gas sector, noting that his expertise makes him well-suited to address the challenges facing Nigeria’s petroleum industry. The group asserted that the criticisms are a deliberate attempt to undermine the President’s decision-making and to create unnecessary controversy.

The organization called on the opposition to respect the President’s choices and to give the new Minister a chance to prove his capability in steering the industry towards growth and sustainability. The NDYC also urged Nigerians to support the Minister in his new role, recognizing the importance of a stable and well-managed petroleum sector for the country’s economy.

The NDYC concluded by reaffirming its confidence in the President’s appointments and pledging its ongoing support for policies that will enhance the nation’s prosperity.
